Setting the Standard: Respect on Set

Health and Wellbeing workshop for cast and crew working in the screen sector

Looking after the mental and physical health and wellbeing of cast and crew on screen productions is incredibly important to us, and as such, Apple Box Studio has teamed up with the wonderful folks at ScreenWell to provide you with an online workshop ‘Setting the Standard: Respect on Set’.

Most workplace issues don’t begin as major incidents, they escalate when early concerns aren’t addressed. This 90-minute workshop provides clear, practical guidance on the standards of behaviour expected in productions, and the rights and responsibilities that support safe workplaces.

We’ll clarify what behaviours cross the line, including harassment and bullying, and build confidence in speaking up early, supporting colleagues, and understanding how concerns are raised and addressed. We’ll also explore how to intervene appropriately as a bystander, what fair handling of issues looks like, and what other external support might be available.

The session also focuses on prevention: how teams can set clear expectations about working together, and how to call things out early if something isn’t working. Designed for crew at all levels, including senior crew and producers who shape culture, the workshop equips participants with practical steps to help build safe, happy, and productive workplaces.

This workshop will take place online on Sat 21 March 2026 from 11am, for approx. 90 mins.

$15 for non-members, or FREE for members.
