Donations

Your generosity helps us empower emerging creatives to pursue their dreams and bring their stories to life. When you buy a ticket, purchase a membership, grab a drink at one of our networking events, or donate on this page, every dollar you give supports vital programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities that make a real difference in the creative community. If you are in a position to donate, we are deeply grateful, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Please note: While we are in the process of applying for charity and Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, donations made at this time are not tax deductible. However, your support is deeply appreciated and helps us lay the foundation for future initiatives to nurture and grow creative talent.

Together we can inspire and support the next generation of storytellers.

Recycle Rewards

Do you love the arts and want to support emerging creatives?

Do you love the environment and want to keep it clean and tidy?

Do you want to give back to your community, but you're not sure how?

Why not consider donating your used drink containers to Apple Box Studio?

We've recently launched our new campaign "Support the Creative Arts!" with Tasmania’s Recycle Rewards and we are so excited!

Our previous campaign raised over $750, which went directly into covering some of the costs for our major events last year, most importantly, it covered the venue hire fees for our 48hr short film competition AND our screening & awards night. We are looking to smash that figure this year, however, we can only do that with your help!

How, we hear you ask?... Well, here's a few options for you…

Container Collection Service

Reverse Vending Machines

If you have a business or you are running a large event, and you think you'll be able to collect a large quantity, you can use a container collection service

  • Download Apple Box Studio’s barcode (see below)

  • Get a 240L bin from the collection service (we can organise this for you)

  • Save up your eligible drink containers

  • Get the bin collected, emptied and cleaned on a regular basis.

When you choose this option, half the refund comes to us, and half goes to the collection centre. These are often social enterprises that provide training and support for people with disabilities.

Ask us for a bin

For residential houses or small businesses, we can provide a smaller bin that can sit in your kitchen or staff communal area.

  • Ask us to bring you a small bin

  • Save up your eligible drink containers

  • Text us when the bin is full, or arrange a pick up schedule with us, and we’ll collect the bin and swap it for an empty one

With this option the full refund comes to us, and we get to have a chat too!
